In addition, the ENT academy cautioned that some allergic individuals may experience hearing changes, scratchy sore throats, hoarseness and cough. In severe cases, allergies can also lead to balance disturbances, facial and throat tissue swelling, skin irritation, respiratory problems and asthma attacks.
