Biography:
Dr. Dagmar O’Connor is the first woman sex therapist to be trained by Masters and Johnson in New York City. She has practiced as a sex therapist for 30 years. In addition to her private practice, she is the former Director of The Sex Therapy Program in the Department of Psychiatry at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, Lecturer in Psychiatry at Columbia University, and former Director of Training of the Sex Therapy Program and Instructor in the Department of OB/GYN at New York Medical College. She was also a founder of the first sex therapy program at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. O’Connor has lectured throughout the world and her books are translated into 15 languages. She has appeared on television with Phil Donahue, Geraldo Rivera, Sally Jesse Raphael, Charlie Rose, and Dr. Frank Fields. She has treated thousands of couples in the past 30 years and is dedicated to teaching them to fulfill the reality of an intimate, loving, spontaneous and sensual relationship.
