Multiple Sclerosis
Living with Multiple Sclerosis
Yoga or exercise may help a person living with multiple sclerosis feel better
People with MS often have draining fatigue. But a study of MS patients found people who performed yoga or engaged in other exercise felt less tired or fatigued than people who were sedentary. While participants felt better physically, it was noted that there was no benefit to their mental functions. Still, extra energy is just one of the reasons why exercise might be a worthwhile component in the life of someone living with MS. While the amount of disability MS produces varies from person to person, there is usually some form of exercise that can be incorporated into a schedule.
