Multiple Sclerosis Living with Multiple Sclerosis

Relapses in multiple sclerosis are not necessarily permanent

Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease with symptoms that may come and go over time. Relapses occur in most people living with MS. While it may indicate the presence of a new symptom or the worsening of an old one, relapses may correct themselves over a few weeks or months. If the relapse symptoms last more than six months, the problem may last indefinitely.
