MS patients can have friends and family help them with their injections

MS is a progressive and chronic disease for which there is no cure. That's why the aim of therapy is to reduce the occurrence and severity of relapses as much as possible. It's important to be on interferon therapy continuously to achieve that end. However, that means receiving shots, or in most cases, giving them to yourself at least once a week for life. This continual routine can become stressful, but experts suggest that those with MS can have loved ones or even friends learn how to deliver those shots. That means that every so often, the person with MS can have someone else deliver the shot and give them a rest.
